In an unprecedented and ambitious collaboration, Catholic filmmakers, artists, and visionaries from across North America have combined forces under one mission: to reimagine the eight Beatitudes through a groundbreaking film anthology, the 8beats movie. Eight teams comprised of 130 creatives in varying regions throughout the United States and Canada are joining to create eight short films that each unpack the ancient and timeless Beatitudes for today’s modern world.
“Beauty is an easy way to impact people’s hearts for the Gospel,” said Anthony D’Ambrosio, founder of Catholic Creatives and executive producer of 8beats.
The 8beats film team believes the Holy Spirit is leading the Church into a new renaissance and aims to use film to bring the timeless truths of Scripture to a wide audience.
