Join us on Wednesday, May 10 at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham for an executive panel discussion on Justice and a family-style dinner with beer and wine!
Panel discussions are a YCP Member benefit and allow for us to discuss and learn from top executives and peers in a more intimate environment.
Not a member of YCP? If you'd like to become a member prior to the event so that you can attend for free, learn more and join online at https://www.ycphouston.org/join, or email membership director Rebecca Phinney (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Our upcoming panel discussion will center on the cardinal virtue of justice, particularly the idea that, as the Compendium references, there is subjective and objective justice. "From a subjective point of view, justice is translated into behavior that is based on the will to recognize the other as a person. From an objective view, justice constitutes the decisive criteria of morality in the intersubjective and social sphere." (Compendium, No. 201).” In today’s social context, where the individual value and dignity of the person are constantly threatened, it can be hard to cultivate this virtue in our daily context. Join us as we discuss how we, as young Catholic professionals, can balance this idea of justice for other humans in today's world.
