Hello! My name is Jacques Delouche and I am currently an educator who recently moved back to Houston after serving as a DRE (Director of Religious Education) in New Orleans, where I was originally born (Who Dat! GEAUX SAINTS!). I lived in Europe as a child in the Czech Republic for several years (and Bulgaria for one year), where I first developed a love of history and traveling and culture before moving to Houston in middle school. After going to college in Los Angeles and serving in post-graduate service, I spent the last 8 years living in New Orleans, where in addition to working as a DRE, I got my Masters in Pastoral Studies at Loyola. I was very active in Young Adult community in New Orleans as well as their YCP chapter and even served as Director of Evangelization for the New Orleans chapter! In addition to History and Religion, I love logistics, looking up data, managing and coordinating projects and initiatives when given an opportunity, and enjoying museums, sports, theater, music, and the outdoors; and Mardi Gras too! I love experiencing different types of cultures as well, trying the different foods, going to the festivals, and definitely want to travel more both domestically and internationally. I am very excited to serve in Houston for YCP to be able to lead others in faith, collaborate with the rest of the leadership team and other young adults for faith growth initiatives, as well as community building. I am truly excited to serve and get to know all of you, while building a wonderful community and relationships. Thank you and God Bless!
